Montmorillonite Super Powder  was made in the process of special grinding of the original  Japanese Montmorillonite . The use of Montmorillonite in water reservoirs has a positive effect on the health and development of all living organisms and plants. It releases many micronutrients that activate enzymes, hormones and vitamins for their proper functioning. It stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the water reservoir. The idea of ​​using Montmorillonite in water reservoirs comes from Japan. Koi carps, very popular in Japan  – fish with attractive coloration bred, among others in ponds – they noticed that Montmorillonite added to the water significantly improved the color and vitality of these fish. Also, Japanese ornamental shrimp breeders use Montmorillonite in their water reservoirs, which affects their coloration, especially of Caridina shrimps 

How to use

1 level teaspoon (included in the package) for 50 liters of aquarium water, 1-2 times a week or for water changes. Before pouring into the aquarium, mix the measured amount with a little approx. 100 ml of water and pour it into the tank. Expiry date: unlimited. Store in a dry place in a tightly closed container.


The average composition of our Montmorillonite from Japan (Basic analysis): Al 2 O 3 -13%, SiO 2 -60%, CaO-4.1%, Fe 2 O 3 -4.2%, MgO-1.5%, Na 2 O-0.15%, S-1.1%, P-1.7%, TiO 2 -0.6%, MnO 2 -0.09%.

To date, more than 78 all-natural micro and macro elements have been identified in Montmorylita. It contains, among others, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese and silicon, as well as many other elements found in trace amounts, among others. titanium, manganese, zinc, boron, selenium, molybdenum, fluorine, iodine and others.

Montmorillonite, thanks to its three-layer structure and countless pores, also brilliantly improves the water quality in the aquarium. It absorbs organic substances and has a very high cation exchange capacity. Perfectly removes heavy metals as well as NH4 + ions . Therefore, it is preferable to use Montmorillonite during the maturation of, for example, shrimp tanks. Below are electron microscope photos showing the amazing structure of this mineral.
